We are all just people
Apparently, over the last 10 years, we’ve made a name for ourselves. It’s said we’ve raised the bar in the business of insight, innovation and planning. From our perspective we simply look to understand people, things and the future, and tell it like it is.

It’s all about the power of people. As an interdisciplinary team, we are defined by the consumers, clients and craftsmen with whom we collaborate everyday.

We use our specialist research skills and creative abilities to frame business challenges, spot innovation opportunities, articulate consumer insight and develop robust strategic perspectives to differentiate and grow businesses and brands.


What we have done...

Over the last year we’ve helped develop a brand repositioning strategy for Diageo, produced a Global Book of Insights for Johnson & Johnson, conducted a major study of European men for Discovery Channel, composed a launch strategy for Nicorette in China, led co-creation for Nike, imagined a Future of... for Vodafone, designed experiences for Habbo, created a global needstates model for the BBC Worldwide and run an innovation program for Unilever. What a year.

Use an approach not a process

Because we’ve never done the same thing twice, we’re not comfortable being pigeon holed by what we do. But put simply, our approach is to design for the consumer and deliver for the client. We do this in five ways.

• Global Master Planning for Brands – helping businesses make the most of the knowledge and relationships that already exists within their organisation and synthesise it into deliverables that will inspire, engage and align brand teams and agencies alike.

• Consumer Research and Product Development – research is coming of age, moving from a role of validation to inspiration, to propel brand strategy and ignite product innovation. We are recognised as leading the way and setting the standard for consumer insight and collaborative innovation.

• Insight and Innovation Tools – to help us do what we do we’ve created the range of platforms, tools & resources.

• Collaborative Co-creation Networks – we have always reached out for talent from beyond the walls of our studios in London and New York. For ten years members of the Sense Network have collaborated with us to share their knowledge or apply their creative thinking skills in solving business challenges.

• Engaging and Inspirational Deliverables – our deliverables are often described as simple, accessible and decisive. They provide clarity and confidence in the consumer planning and corporate decision making process.

• Knowledge Expression Tools – These are bespoke software tools that can extract, reveal and visualise simple meanings and compelling narratives from complex quantitative data sets.

• Community Network Conversation Tools – Developed from experience this collaborative online platform can foster open innovation and engage stakeholders and customers in global research and co-creation activities.

• The Sense Network – This is our dedicated global community of diverse and articulate thinkers and doers that contribute perspectives and skills to insight and innovation challenges.

Sense Trend Index
This is a foundational source of contextual knowledge that has been created to inform, expand and inspire research, strategy, brand, design and business planning.

The Sense Trend Index is the culmination of ten years ongoing research and trend analysis. Available as an online tool and resource it's the cornerstone of all our projects. Beginning with the Research Amnesty and Synthesis stages of our work it provides an invaluable foundation of robust data to challenge and inspire our projects.
The Sense Network
On this site you'll find a global community of diverse and articulate thinkers and doers that contribute perspectives and skills to insight and innovation challenges.

Established ten years ago, it has pioneered the concept of collaborative networks and co-creation and now supports over 1,800 people, who unlike most online panels and focus groups, are motivated by intellectual challenge and the opportunity to engage with each other on creative projects that explore people, things and the future.
