I LOVE MY T-SHIRT

It's back to 'things' for the third 'I Love My...' Everyone should have a favourite one of these, probably the most iconic fashion garment ever: The T-Shirt. Originally invented as underwear for men in the American Navy to wear under woolly jumpers, it wasn't until James Dean shocked the world and wore one on its own did they become the fashion icon they are today.

The T-Shirt has become a canvas for the most diverse forms of communication and a subtle way of expressing the most extreme ideas. They are a fundamental part of everyone's wardrobe but have so many different functions for different people. It's not difficult to find a T-Shirt but it might be difficult to find the right one because the T-Shirt is more than just a piece of clothing. We want to celebrate the personal relationship you have with the world's favourite garment. I Love My T-Shirt.

The image to the left contains the prize T-shirts for the best entries. Good luck.
